Our treatment rooms are light and airy, decorated like a hotel, not a hospital. The latest dental chairs let you relax comfortably, while your dentist works with maximum access, minimum strain.

The dentist’s work station has two special features. The dental equipment is air-driven; that’s to keep noise to the minimum and help you relax. Next to the instruments, there’s a tiny video camera. Why? So that your dentist can show you inside your mouth, any areas of concern, and explain what any treatment will involve. If you know what’s happening, you feel more in control.

A video camera is only of use if you can see the image. Above the dental chair is a wide screen monitor. It’s not only used to explain your dental health, but to entertain you during treatment. We can tune into TV, you can choose a DVD from our library or bring your favourite DVD with you. Headphones provide audio and help isolate you from the dental experience.

Each treatment room has easy chairs and a table. If you’d like to bring a friend or relative along for company, they can be by your side while treatment is going on. This is especially welcome for our younger customers. Knowing that mum or dad is in the room is very reassuring.

Dental diagnosis is made easier by using x-rays. We have digital x-ray equipment that can examine individual teeth or the whole mouth, with the resulting images being displayed instantaneously to both patient and dentist. Simple and easy.

There’s another space, one you won’t find in many dental surgeries; a relaxation and recovery room. If, after treatment, you want to chill-out before facing the outside world, be our guest. Comfortable chairs, music and a TV make it ideal for a few minutes recomposure.

When you look around Evergreen, there’s lots you won’t notice, but it’s there. All surfaces, floors, walls and furniture are finished and maintained to clinical standards, reducing the risk of infections to the lowest level feasible. The water we use during treatments is not straight from the tap. It’s treated in one of the most sophisticated dental demineralisation plants available, for absolute purity. And there’s the latest autoclave which sterilises instruments after every treatment.

What’s the background music you can hear? Anything you like – we have a hi-tech Sonos music system in the Centre which can play music of your choice from our MP3 collection, or from your own iPod. Cool jazz, grunge rock, string quartets – the choice is yours. Oh, and we’re quite proud of our air-conditioning, artwork and flower arrangements too. They’re there just for you.
